We also have studio phone in guest, Regina Stewart with us today. She is an Athletic,President, volunteer coordinate. Mother, grandmother, loves spending time with family, outdoors activity. Events this year, track, 50 and 100 meters sprints, 1500m power walk and newly water walker, and 5 vs 5 vs 5 softball and hit, pitch and run. Trying to fit in cornhole to partner with another athlete after helping her on the phone.
In the studio this week, we have Kathleen Fitzgerald, the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Senior Games. Over the years she has been a teacher, coach and administrator – always for sports. She is also an athlete who loves to play a variety of sports including swimming, sprinting, playing table tennis, pickleball and golf.
Buford Golf, Track and Field and Jockey
Also in studio, Buford Golf grew up on a farm helping raise horses, cows, chickens and pigs. His brother encouraged him to do rodeo where he gravitated to bull riding. A man at the rodeo saw him ride bulls and thought he would make an excellent jockey. Then in 2012 he became an Oklahoma Senior Games sprinter. He will also be competing in the senior games this year. Our phone in studio guest is… and we will be talking about the upcoming job fair. Pam Shelton CEO of Yukon Chamber of Commerce (where the OSJ has been an active member for the last two years). I look at my job as selling Yukon to everyone. It’s so easy to do because Yukon is definitely Yunique! It’s a great place to live, work, and play.
