This week on The Rise & Thrive OSJ Radio Hour: Guests in the OSJ Radio Studio: (l to r) FAMILY! Brother Nathan Gunn and Mother Bobbie Diffee-Gunn!
Bobbie Diffee-Gunn is not only my fabulous mom—she’s also my biggest supporter!
Mom and her twin sister were born in 1934 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and her parents later moved the family to Bethany, Oklahoma. There my grandfather, John Diffee, opened the Diffee Motor Company—still a well-known auto dealership in El Reno today.
Mom always says she married the love of her life, Gordon Gunn. They married in 1955 and moved to Ada, Oklahoma, where my three brothers and I were born and raised.
Mom & Dad’s youngest son Nathan, experienced a life-changing accident during his senior year at Ada High School. This tragedy is the subject of our next The Rise and Thrive OSJ Radio Hour, entitled ~ What is Your Miracle?
Meet my youngest brother, Nathan Gunn—President and Founder of Jesus Booth Ministries, an Oklahoma City-based mission organization.
Nathan has spent his last 30 years ministering in Los Angeles, Texas, Oklahoma, New York, Africa, India, and the United Kingdom. Now he spends most of the week ministering to people right here in Oklahoma City—on downtown streets and at the bus station. He works on building relationships, praying for and meeting people’s immediate needs, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. You can follow Nathan’s missionary work on Facebook at Jesus Booth Ministries.
In addition to his ministry, Nathan is an award-winning artist. He currently sells commissioned pieces and teaches art. He is on Facebook and Instagram under NathanGunnArt.
