Nelson went to College at the University of Texas in Austin, Medical School at Baylor College of Medicine, his Internal Medicine Residency & Fellowship at Mayo Clinic (where Doctor Nelson said he had one of the best experience for the four years he was there) Anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship was in Kansas City University, Fellowship & Instruction for the World in Budapest Hungry. Dr. Nelson is a Certified Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Pain Management Specialist!
