Mr. Gary Banz (left) is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, an educator and historian basketball coach in Ada & MW City, and served 12 yrs in the house of representatives in the Oklahoma state house.During that time he initiated along with his wife, Linda, all the fundraising for 24 honor flights to Washington DC for Oklahoma World War II veterans. To document those Experiences he wrote a book (see below) produced a documentary (see below) which is available (at the Oklahoma History Center in OKC or though Gary, his info below) and Gary is available for speaking engagements!
He also has produced another documentary, Skytrain, and a book to go along with that. (See below)
The first documentary Book is called: “Just in Time”. (See below)
He is currently executive Director of Force 50 Foundation, (force50foundation.com) whose mission is to connect all the organizations (nonprofit) that serve Veterans in Oklahoma.
Gary has two daughters and a son, all who live in Oklahoma, except for his middle daughter, who works for the Pentagon in Washington DC and Gary has six grandchildren. Gary’s one daughter who is currently working at the Pentagon after she was one of the top civilians at Tinker Air Force Base.
He’s available to speak to groups and retirement communities, and organizations about his career and promoting, the bill of rights in the constitution. Gary is a member I believe of the friends of the Oklahoma History Center along with VillagesOKC.org!
