I played organized baseball and basketball through high school while also playing golf, tennis and bowling. At age 10 I took my first regular job as a pin setter at Midwest City High School bowling lanes. I became more active in bowling after age 50. I have had 2 – 300 games and numerous 700+ series since turning 60.
Donna Herford: I was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Oklahoma with my family in 1967. Girl Scouts, church choir and vocal music became my interests. In 1971, I met my husband at our Girl Scout – Boy Scout dance. I was not involved with sports until I married him in 1975. At that point in my life we started bowling , playing golf and racquetball with family and friends building many relationships and friendships.
