Paula Brooks – Prior to moving to Oklahoma in 2002, Paula was a professional hotelier and full time “road warrior” traveling extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. As a regional sales and service trainer/educator for luxury hotels and resorts, her servant’s heart and solid work ethic have served her well in both hospitality and senior care. Paula has been a consistently fierce advocate for seniors as a former Ombudsman and later a licensed Administrator with Assisted Living and Memory care prior to coming to Statesman Club.
Sherrene’ Rhodes works in the Embark at Statesman Club’s community based personal services program affectionately known as “Here for You” alongside the two RNs and Certified Nursing Assistants that make up that department. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and in her spare time, she enjoys painting and being a mom.
Elizabeth Alexander is a 3rd generation Oklahoma University graduate. She and husband, Stan, are big fans of Casady School with both of their children attending there as “lifers”. Elizabeth’s Mother taught at Casady for 14 years and Elizabeth taught there for 22! She loves reading, leading Bible studies and is a Master Gardener. Crossings Church, her faith, family and many friends are at the top of her priority list in life.
Stan Alexander, a retired Lt. Colonel in the US Air Force, served on the Village City Council for 34 years and was Mayor eight of those years. He is a past President of the North Oklahoma City Rotary Club, past Chairman of the North Oklahoma City YMCA, and has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.
(He and Elizabeth have been married for 63 years and it would take 30 more minutes to share all the Alexander’s life accomplishments!)
