Get involved! Local volunteer opportunities in OKC Metro
In addition to the OSJ events calendar & recurring activities, here are some very nice volunteer opportunities in the Oklahoma City metro area. These could be updated by the organization, so PLEASE, ALWAYS CALL FIRST to see if the information is still correct.
We’re in need of assistance in the kitchen, for deliveries and shoppers. Please help share this request with those who might be interested in volunteer opportunities. We’ll be glad to come visit with church groups, civic organizations, or HR teams. For more information; (405) 341-3111 or e-mail; [email protected]
We treasure our volunteers! Without your support, we could not accomplish our goal to provide needed programs and services to people across Oklahoma. Email [email protected] to get connected today!
The Salvation Army Central Oklahoma is currently seeking volunteers to provide, prepare and serve the evening community meal in its Red Shield Diner located at 1001 N. Pennsylvania in Oklahoma City. The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Diner & Kitchen daily serves around 500-700 individuals. These individuals are in need of a safe, inviting place to eat and enjoy fellowship…and that is where volunteers can really step up to help. For more information on how you and your group can provide, prepare and serve in the Red Shield Diner & Kitchen, contact Liz Banks at 405.246.1107 or via email [email protected].
