Alzheimer’s Groups
Coffee and Creativity presented by the Alzheimer’s Associaton. First Monday of every month 10-11:30 a.m. In conjunction with Edmond Fine Arts Institute Adults with dementia engage in a special class led by art therapists while caregivers relax over coffee provided by Edmond’s Café Evoke. Anyone interested in attending these events to please RSVP to 800-272-3900.
Alzheimer’s Association Support Groups statewide for caregivers of Alzheimer’s and dementia. These are at various times, dates and locations. Check to see if there is a group close to you that fits your needs. Support Groups an be a huge help to families and includes topics such as these upcoming in OKC:
Basics About Dementia, March 30 at 6‐7:30pm; Living with Alzheimer’s – For People with Younger Onset April 2. *All programs are for family caregivers only* RSVP required to attend.
