Hearing Loss Association to Give Away Hearing Aids & Ice Cream
It is all free and open to the public. August 4, 2018, 2-4PM, Lakeside United Methodist Church, 2925 NW 66.
Free Hearing aids! Yes, your Central Oklahoma Chapter of Hearing Loss Association of America (COCHLAA) will give away a pair of Resound Linx 3D 9 hearing aids, including the audiologist’s check up, fitting, and one follow up appointment — a $6,000 value — during the annual Ice Cream Social on August 4, 2018. The social is COCHLAA’s kickoff of the new year. Scholarship winners will be named, new chapter officers introduced, programs for the year will be discussed AND gallons of ice cream consumed.
The local chapter has been active for 28 years serving Oklahomans with hearing loss. We will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Hearing Helper’s Room in September. COCHLAA can be found at many meetings, health fairs, the State Fair, and as a speaker for your meeting or group. Visit http://okchearingloss.publishpath.com/ to learn more.
St Eugene’s Church is OKC’s latest venue to have a hearing loop installed by our associate Ana Covey’s company Assist2Hear. Actually, you could be the city’s newest because COCHLAA and Assist2Hear will also give a free home loop system to an attendee of the ice cream social on Saturday.
