Everyone enjoys celebrating with the reality TV Stars who have lost the pound, or maybe we’ve had friends and family that have accomplished a great weight-loss milestone.  We cheer because we have watched the struggle to achieve this heal their life and know the commitment involved.  But what is the secret to keeping the weight-off?  What is the mindset of wellness champions that allow certain ones to maintain their goal weight for two, five, or ten years and beyond?

Norman Regional’s own Dr. Laure DeMattia will share from her expertise on these questions and more.  Dr. DeMattia specializes in medical weight management and is board certified in family medicine and obesity medicine.  She attended Midwestern University and completed her family medicine residency at Northwestern University in Chicago.
