Julie Brown grew up in Kansas, became a nurse and moved to Oklahoma City in 1991. She began working for Hospice of Oklahoma County the following year. It was her passion for 20 years. In 2012 she discovered Clarehouse in Tulsa- a community home for the dying. She immediately knew that God was calling her to create a similar home in the OKC area. After retiring from Integris in 2018, she founded Agape Road, a nonprofit, end-of-life care home for those on hospice that are unable to be managed at home. She says “There is nothing more fulfilling that to be able to walk God’s children to the gates of heaven. “

Karrie McCaslin is a native Oklahoman, whose passion is working with and helping others reach their potential. She has been an RN for the last 31 years, a 1990 BSN graduate of UCO and currently works part time for Providence Home Care. She serves on the AGAPE ROAD board as Secretary/Treasurer and is excited to get this ministry operational. She lives in Oklahoma City and is very blessed to have 7 grandchildren.

Suzanne Land currently serves as President on the Board and Co-Founder of Agape Road along with Julie and Karrie. She holds a Masters Degree in Nursing Education and is now fully retired and served asa nurse for 28 years. Nursing is considered a calling for her, no matter what the position. Her partnership with Agape Road is no exception.

Agape Road is a loving home offering physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those nearing end-of-life. There are over 400 people a year in Oklahoma that have no place to pass away. Agape Road is Making a Difference on this issue!
