Pictured: Chase & Esther Parsons  – Chase Parsons is a husband and father of three.  He is a co-founder of the OKC Dream Center and currently serves as the Assistant Director. Chase also serves at Inner City Church (on the same campus as OKC DC) as the Associate Pastor.  It is our passion at OKC Dream Center to reach, rescue, and restore those isolated by poverty and help make dreams come true.  Chase and the rest of the team of incredible volunteers pursue the vision to win and train countless people for Christ.

LaTasha Clark, is a happily married, mother of 4. She is the Community Resource Director at The Okc Dream Center. She assists and connect the residents of our community with the resources provided by the Okc Dream Center. Resources such as, access to our computer lab, food through our food pantry, and clothing through our clothing closet.  She is also the director of the Nourish after school program. We’ve partnered with our neighboring elementary school and offer a program from 3-6p with daily activities, fellowships, and dinner.

In The Rise & Thrive OSJ Radio Studio this Saturday at 9:05am are two Retirement communities which have a Signature Wine (named Duet) and have been a part of the OKC/Edmond community, since 1957—Villagio of OKC and Villagio at Bradford Village in Edmond. Nikkita Bowler-Forcha, better know as Nikki, is the Marketing and Sales Director of Villagio Senior Living of OKC. Nikki has been with Villagio of OKC community for the last six years. she has grown with the changes her community because she started out as a caregiver 15 years ago and from there Nikki knew where my heart belonged and that was helping Seniors and their families.
Caitlin Cairns has been a member of the Villagio at Bradford Village staff for 8 years. She is a registered drama therapist and spent several years as the activities director for the campus and is currently the Assistant Director for Bradford Village. Caitlin loves being part of the Villagio and Bradford Village families.

Paula Brooks –  Prior to moving to Oklahoma in 2002, Paula was a professional hotelier and full time “road warrior” traveling extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. As a regional sales and service trainer/educator for luxury hotels and resorts, her servant’s heart and solid work ethic have served her well in both hospitality and senior care. Paula has been a consistently fierce advocate for seniors as a former Ombudsman and later a licensed Administrator with Assisted Living and Memory care prior to coming to Statesman Club.

Sherrene’ Rhodes works in the Embark at Statesman Club’s community based personal services program affectionately known as “Here for You” alongside the two RNs and Certified Nursing Assistants that make up that department. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and in her spare time, she enjoys painting and being a mom.

 

Elizabeth Alexander is a 3rd generation Oklahoma University graduate.  She and husband, Stan, are big fans of Casady School with both of their children attending there as “lifers”.  Elizabeth’s Mother taught at Casady for 14 years and Elizabeth taught there for 22! She loves reading, leading Bible studies and is a Master Gardener.  Crossings Church, her faith, family and many friends are at the top of her priority list in life.

 

Stan Alexander, a retired Lt. Colonel in the US Air Force, served on the Village City Council for 34 years and was Mayor eight of those years.  He is a past President of the North Oklahoma City Rotary Club, past Chairman of the North Oklahoma City YMCA, and has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

(He and Elizabeth have been married for 63 years and it would take 30 more minutes to share all the Alexander’s life accomplishments!)
