Rebekah Williams has established herself as a leading figure in senior advocacy over her 22-year career, focusing on improving the lives of seniors in Oklahoma. Her experience includes a 10-year tenure with the Ombudsman program, supported by specialized education and training in federal and state Ombudsman supervisor mandates, including coursework from the OU Geriatric Institute, and as a graduate of the Oklahoma Aging Advocate Leadership Academy.
Currently, Rebekah serves as an Ombudsman Systems Advocate and liaison, working with state & congressional lawmakers on legislation impacting the aging population.

Joy McGill serves as AARP Oklahoma’s advocacy director, where she has worked since 2017. With her experience as a policy advocate, she spearheads AARP Oklahoma’s advocacy initiatives on a wide range of issues including family caregiving, long-term care, prescription drugs, healthcare, utilities, guardianship, financial security, fraud prevention and more.
Additionally, McGill actively collaborates with volunteers and the community-at-large, sharing resources to effectively advocate for the issues that affect their lives.
