Due to overwhelming requests… We are running the Fraud & Scam OSJ Radio Hour with Staff Sergeant Tara Hardin with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office … Is in the OSJ Radio Studio speaking on frauds and scams, especially around the holidays targeting our precious seniors. Some of the topics we will be coving are; “Fake Package Delivery Texts”, “Fake Retail Websites”, “Fake Ticket Websites”, and What are Skimmers? Will be addressing these topics and many more in this very important OSJ Radio Show, I learned so much myself. The three most important words to remember are; Prevention Prevention, Prevention!
Staff Sergeant Tara Hardin began her career with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office in 2011 and has served as the TRIAD Coordinator since July 2021. She is dedicated to the TRIAD program’s mission of preventing and reducing crimes against older adults, with a particular focus on combating scams and fraud targeting seniors.
In addition to her monthly classes throughout the metro, online and phone-in, her weekly crime prevention segment,”Senior Moments,” is shared every Friday on the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page offering timely tips and resources to help seniors stay informed and safe.
